Jilib Jiblets

Said Bulle grew up watching his mother cook for the family and at her small restaurant in Jilib, Somalia. "When I came to America at the age of 15, I started to search for ways to connect with her. I found that connection in the kitchen. In 2013 I started working at Manhattan Pizza in downtown Burlington. I created lifelong relationships with the owners. As I started getting orders from the Somali community to fry chicken, Manhattan gave me the privilege to use their kitchen. It was then, that I realized I wanted to bring my vision alive and create my own catering business."

Hours depend on the weather, walking up and down Church Street is a great way to see if vendors are out and serving something delicious!
