Willard Street Inn
The Willard Street Inn is a charming Victorian mansion built in 1881 of brick and white marble as a private family home for Charles W. Woodhouse. The three-story Inn offers grace and grandeur blended with the warmest hospitality. Tall double front doors with antique brass handles open to welcome you into the beautiful cherry paneled foyer and its striking staircase. The décor is both elegant and comfortable. Each of its 14 guest rooms (all with private baths) are individually decorated with authentic and reproduction antiques. Each room has its own personality that welcomes you with a blend of historic charm and modern comforts. Every morning, a delicious gourmet breakfast is prepared by our chef and served in the sunny marble floored solarium with its delightful views of our beautiful English gardens and Lake Champlain. A short walk takes you to the University of Vermont, Champlain College, Lake Champlain's waterfront and Church Street's fine restaurants and shopping.
